CAMERA Recruiting – Research Associate in VR/AR Technology

As part of the recently funded European Media and Immersion Lab (EMIL), the Department of Computer Science are looking for a highly motivated individual to conduct research in the area of VR/AR. The project aims to design exciting new VR/AR systems, focusing on systems that involve physical activity such as VR exercise games (“exergames”), explore their effects on users, and develop new technology that makes it easier to create such systems.

You will be associated with two research centres at the University of Bath: CAMERA (the Centre for the Analysis of Motion, Entertainment Research and Applications) and REVEAL (the REal and Virtual Environments Augmentation Lab). CAMERA has a world-class production standard motion-capture studio, which will be available for this project.
