This FREE workshop is hosted by The Centre for the Analysis of Motion, Entertainment Research and Applications (CAMERA) at the University of Bath’s Applied Biomechanics Suite.

The workshop aims to introduce attendees to motion capture techniques, current biomechanical research topics, and networking opportunities. We warmly welcome individuals from all types of Health and Sports backgrounds, such as Physiotherapists, Sports coaches or Personal Trainers who are interested in improving their understanding of motion capture techniques and Biomechanics.

This free event is for registered sole traders or small business owners working in the health or sports sector in the South West. For more information about eligibility please contact us directly.

– Introduction to 2D & 3D Motion Capture techniques

– Applied data collection and analysis

– Using motion capture in your own practice

– Research presentations & guest speakers

– Networking & drinks

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Attendees will leave with an improved understanding of motion capture in the context of gait and movement analysis as well as techniques that can be applied in their own practice. The day will finish with a networking event for attendees and CAMERA researchers.
