CAMERA CAMERA Exhibit Research at the Chancellor’s Dinner

CAMERA presented a research exhibition and held a guest table at the recent Chancellor’s Dinner event. Hosted by HRH The Earl of Wessex, the Chancellor’s dinner is one of the University of Bath’s flagship events. It celebrates the University’s partnerships with industry, alumni and the local region.

Over 150 guests attended the drinks reception at the Assembly Rooms and CAMERA’s work was presented to a number of leading figures from the industry, the local community and academia. The CAMERA table included guests like Dr Tom Shannon, Co-Founder and Group Director of The Oxford Metrics Group, Professor Christopher Bishop, Laboratory Director of Microsoft Research Cambridge and Simon Robinson, Co-Founder and Chief Scientist of The Foundry. One highlight included encouraging the Chair of Bath and North East Somerset Council to try a VR headset, although we didn’t quite manage to wire up the Earl of Wessex!
