Recruiting – Research Associate in Facial Synthesis
CAMERA are recruiting for a Research Associate in Facial Synthesis. Working with a current system developed in CAMERA for generating facial expressions using Genetic Algorithms you will develop approaches to scale-up it’s use from only a few users to hundreds across multiple locations. Incorporating new methods to increase the diversity of identities in the model and the fidelity of faces by linking with PhD researchers and translating prototype research results into the system. You will be expected to open source the software and publish details on the system in an appropriate journal or conference.
As part of a wider EPSRC funded project with Psychologists at Queen Mary University (QMU) and University College London (UCL) you will be collaborating closely with their teams. This will involve helping deploy the tool in clinical and psychological studies and contributing to scientific articles in appropriate venues.
