The second Bath PGR Conference on Computer Science (BCCS 2017) is now open for submissions.

This year the event will be on 31 May 2017 at the Edge of University of Bath. It is a one-day event being held to demonstrate the latest fruitful research that is being done by all in Computer Science at Bath University, showing the connections between the different groups in the field by allowing researchers from all fields to present and discuss their work.

The conference is open to all Postgraduate students, postdoctoral researchers and staff, and will be aimed throughout all research areas of Computer Science at the University of Bath. We welcome submissions from the following research areas:

–  Human-computer interaction

–  Intelligent systems

–  Mathematical foundations

–  Visual Computing

The deadline for submission is 01 May 2017. Find more details, including the template and submission link, on the BCCS 2017 website.

This is an opportunity for PGR students to present work in a formal environment of diverse researchers, to get a constructive feedback on research ideas and to gain exposure to interests both inside and outside of research groups. All PhD and EngD students are strongly encouraged to submit for the conference, except for EngD students in placement (although entries are still welcome).
