CAMERA has been delighted to have Ella Stewart working behind the scenes within the studio to gain some useful work experience as part of her first year of a BSc in Digital Film and Post Production Technology at Staffordshire University.

Ella said “I was hoping to learn more about what it is like within a research facility. This is a new experience for me and an opportunity to get more knowledge about visual effects research. It’s increased my awareness of a wider range of software and its applications.

The best part of my time here was seeing how they work on a shoot for a project and translating theory into day to day planning. There is so much planning! It is also surprising just how much analysis is needed after the shoot has finished.

When I graduate I hope to be in the post production industry, so this is a wonderful opportunity to support that journey.”
