The core of CAMERA is the continued development and application of novel Visual Computing techniques into solutions for the creative industry within movies, TV and video games.

We have a strong track-record in creating innovative tools which reduce cost, time or complexity when using digital technology for capturing performance.

This field of creative work is well known for requiring a delicate balance between concept and enabling technology; creative and technical expertise. We are also interested in reducing the technical pipeline or ‘disconnect’ between creative input/creative direction and an end-result. This includes the development of real-time feedback options from capture devices and artist-accessible editing tools which allows quick and robust amendments to occur without requiring huge technical knowledge.
