Bath Digital Festival

CAMERA Head of Studio will be describing our beautiful work with REWIND for The Welsh National Opera on Friday 26th October as part of the Bath Digital Festival.

Martin Parsons faced some unusual challenges in capturing Soprano Karah Son’s performance.  REWIND have won multiple awards for the captivating immersive VR experience Magic Butterfly, which toured with the WNO in 2017/2018, and welcomed over 10,000 visitors.

Greg Furber, VR Director, REWIND. said “CAMERA was the perfect team to partner with on the creation of the Madam Butterfly VR experience. Their assistance solving the performances unique challenges was invaluable and helped us make a captivating VR experience that allows us to bring a classic performance from the stage into the virtual world exploring a staging of Madam Butterfly that isn’t possible in any other medium.”
