CAMERA is saying a fond farewell to Dr Daniel J. Finnegan. After 2.5 years as a Research Associate with CAMERA, he is leaving to take up a post as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the School of Computer Science and Informatics at Cardiff University.

During his time at CAMERA, Dan has produced some innovative research and we are proud to have been part of his career development and progression.

Highlights of his time at CAMERA are presenting his work at the SIVE workshop as part of IEEE VR in 2017, and establishing research collaborations with Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China where he spent 4 weeks internship in Spring 2018.

He has also published at the CHI Play 2018 conference as part of his work on developing games for a social change beyond entertainment. You can read more about this here.
